ABOUT ME

THE STORY OF MIDGAR DWELLER

Midgard Dweller wasn’t something I planned — it just kind of grew out of everything I’ve always been drawn to. I grew up in the deep woods and misty pond lands of South Bohemia — a place where the air always felt a bit heavier with silence, and the trees seemed like they remembered things. That landscape shaped me.It made it easy to believe in old spirits and half-forgotten stories whispered through the branches.

As a kid, I got obsessed with legends, ancient history, and mythologies from all over the world. I didn’t care if it was Norse, Slavic, Greek, or something I stumbled across by accident — if it had swords, spirits, or a doomed hero, I was in.

A bit later, I fell hard for heavy music. You know the kind — the riffs that sound like thunder and lyrics that feel like battle cries. It didn’t take long before those two worlds started blending in my head: the visuals, the atmosphere, the feeling. That’s where this all started.

These days, I work as a graphic designer by day and an illustrator by night. What I create is shaped by both — the structured side of design and the raw, emotional pull of storytelling through art. And somewhere between the two, you’ll find what I do. Hopefully, with a little bit of magic involved...

Since launching Midgard Dweller in 2022, I’ve built a community of over 100 000 followers on social media, created more than 500 original designs, and collaborated with over 150 individuals, brands and musicians around the world — through personal commissions, merchandise artwork and visual storytelling. Some of the names I’ve worked with including:
